The local AI assistant that reviews, sorts and makes your raw footage searchable. And prepares your edit in Premiere.
The third night of reviewing footage.
Review hell
Days of nothing but reviewing, sorting and taking notes before the first cut happens.
Reviewed while you sleep.Season backlog and delivery pressure
Shoot from May to October, edit until Christmas.
Shot on Saturday. Delivered on Friday. The "where was that again?" moment
The couple asks about the moment grandma cried.
Your footage, searchable like a document.Let it review. Search. Export.
Edit like always, just weeks earlier.
Import footage
Open the folder. Originals stay where they are. Nothing is changed, moved or renamed.
Let it review
One button starts all analyses one after another. You watch the progress and sleep while Filmetri works.
Search and export
Type "father of the bride speech". Check the hits. Send them to Premiere as a finished bin.
20 hours of footage. Every second searchable.
Reviewing, sorting, searching: Filmetri takes that over. Editing stays your craft.
Everything said per clip with timecode: vows, speeches, announcements.
Who speaks when.
Recognise people and find them again across all clips; name once, found everywhere.
Getting ready, ceremony, speeches, first dance, party, couple session, B-roll, drone.
Sharpness, exposure, shake per clip; anything discarded comes with a reason.
Laughter, applause, tears as markers in the footage.
Tempo and beat points for beat-accurate montages.
Measures whether a clip's original sound carries (church music, band, DJ) or should be replaced; audio tracks go to Premiere separately.
Full text across everything said plus filters by person, scene, quality, camera.
Chosen and discarded clips side by side, with reasons, correctable ("Use anyway", "Never").
A proposal, not a finished film. You decide what stays.
Filmetri builds a proposal for the short film (highlight) and the long film from the best moments, with chapters, cold open and closing shot. Under vows and speeches the music stays off. You change, swap, cut, and then edit in Premiere.
Import search hits, selections or the edit draft as a bin or sequence (XML) into Premiere Pro; multicam second cameras sit in sync on their own tracks.
A chat assistant that knows the project: "Show me all speeches", "Why is clip 42 out?" Runs locally or with your own key; it only ever receives text metadata, never video, audio or faces.
Transcribe the pre-wedding call, questionnaire for the couple, timeline with sun position and golden hour, shooting plan with locations and checklist.
Runs on your computer. Not in the cloud.
One installer, no admin rights, no Docker. Filmetri downloads the models once at first start.
Windows
Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit. An NVIDIA graphics card with 8 GB of memory or more makes the review fast; without one it runs, just slower.
macOS
Apple Silicon (M1 and newer). The developer build runs, the beta follows. Sign up and we'll let you know.
Linux
We focus on the computers weddings are edited on.
System requirements: 16 GB of RAM, 15 GB of free disk space, Adobe Premiere Pro for the import.
Your edit stays in Premiere Pro.
Filmetri doesn't edit. It exports bins, sequences and markers as XML that Adobe Premiere Pro imports directly: sorted footage, search hits as a sequence, the edit draft with chapters and music track. You open the file and keep editing like always.
We'll check other programs that read Final Cut 7 XML after the beta.
Your couples' vows don't belong in someone else's cloud.
Everything runs on your computer. Video, audio and faces never leave it. The Director can run locally; if you pick a cloud provider with your own key, only text metadata goes out. And you see which.
Deliver in days. Book the next wedding.
Bought once. No rent. No meter running. Delivering a week faster means taking on one more wedding a month.

Who Filmetri is built for
"I love shooting. I hate the third night of reviewing."
Filmetri takes over the review overnight and has the takes ready for you in the morning. In Premiere, no relearning, originals untouched.
"I know which film I want, but the way there eats me up."
A guided workflow with visible progress, plus preparation and shooting plan. An assistant that knows the way.
"My editors should edit, not search."
Searchability as a shared index, consistent metadata for every wedding. One-time purchase instead of subscription seats.
Buy once. No rent.
The industry already pays Adobe and music by the month. Filmetri doesn't add to that: one licence, all updates of version 1, no meter.
Frequently asked questions
Does Filmetri really run completely offline?
Yes, for all analyses. Only the optional Director with a cloud provider needs a connection; it works locally too.
Which cameras and formats?
Everything Premiere reads. Filmetri only reads the original files and never changes them.
Do I need an NVIDIA card?
No, but it helps: NVIDIA with 8 GB of memory or more makes the review fast. Without a graphics card Filmetri runs too, noticeably slower.
Does Filmetri run on the Mac?
Soon. The developer build runs on Apple Silicon (M1 and newer), the beta follows. Today Windows is the finished platform. Sign up and we'll let you know.
Does Filmetri edit my film?
No. It reviews, sorts, searches and makes a proposal. The editing happens in Premiere.
How does the result get into Premiere?
Via XML import, as a bin or sequence. Multicam second cameras sit in sync on their own tracks.
Does it work with DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut?
Today Premiere Pro is the target. The export is Final Cut 7 XML, which other programs can read too; we haven't tested the import there yet. After the beta we'll check other programs.
Is this a subscription?
No. One-time purchase, all updates of version 1 included.
What does the Director cost?
Nothing extra. Free locally; with your own key you pay only your provider.
Can I return it?
14-day money back, no questions asked.
What language is the software in?
The app is German today; English and Polish follow. The transcription understands German, English, Polish and more.
